How to Donate Your Computers and Related Technology:

Start by faxing a donation summary or inventory list to the Technology Training Foundation of America (TTFA) at 858/547-7559. TTFA is our partner who refurbishes donated computer equipment, bringing it up to school district technology standards. These units are then placed free of charge in schools and educational based non-profit organizations. Big Daddy Surplus provides TTFA recycling, transportation and storage services.

The equipment that does not meet school district standards or does not fit into the computer donation program is processed through Big Daddy Surplus, keeping it out of landfills. TTFA receives a residual credit for equipment that in turn is put towards parts to repair and upgrade the computers that can go to schools and non-profit organizations. For more information on TTFA, visit their website at http://www.computers2learnby.org or call them at 858/547-3992.

After faxing your inventory list to TTFA, they will arrange with Big Daddy Surplus for your donation to be picked up. An employee of Big Daddy Surplus will contact you to confirm a pick-up date for your tax-deductible donation. Please have all items being donated in an area that is easily accessible. Please provide appropriate access or parking for a large truck.

Once the equipment has been picked up by Big Daddy Surplus and the inventory has been confirmed, TTFA will generate a receipt for the tax-deductible donation. It, along with a thank you letter from the Foundation, will be sent to the designated contact at your company.
